Terms of Service for KnowU

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up, registering for an account, or otherwise accessing or using the KnowU application (“App”), operated by MXM Consulting (“Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Services

KnowU offers tools for personal and professional growth through self-assessment, peer feedback, and social media insights. The App provides a detailed profile of your personality and relationships to help you enhance personal development, improve relationships, and advance in your career.

3. User Obligations

  • Registration: You must register for an account to use the App. By signing up or creating an account, you explicitly agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up-to-date.
  • Usage: You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not use the App to engage in any conduct that is fraudulent, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Profile Sharing and Interaction with Friends & AI

The App includes social features allowing you to connect with other users (“Friends”) and share your personality scores and profiles.

  • Sharing with Friends: By adding another user as a Friend, you authorize the App to share your personality scores and profiles with them.
  • AI Context and Opt-Out: Your Friends may reference or include your profile in their conversations with the App’s AI coach (“Ask AI”) for comparative analysis or coaching context. You can opt out of this feature at any time through your profile settings by disabling “Share profile with Ask AI”. When disabled, Friends will no longer be able to include your personality profile in their AI conversations.

5. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found below. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images, and logos are the intellectual property of the Company and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized use of any materials may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Termination

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that the Company believes violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App, the Company, or third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the App; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

9. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
